Recognizing the protection of personal information supplied to us as important responsibilities, JAC will establish a reliable system of personal information protection presided over by a personal information protection manager selected from directors. We ensure compliance with applicable laws and ordinances, develop internal rules and manuals and take all possible measures to adhere to them.

JAC will specify, as far as possible, the purposes of use of personal information which is directly collected from an individual, and will use collected personal information only within the scope of the purpose(s) for which consent has been obtained from the individual.

JAC will handle personal information which is supplied in connection with commissioned business only within the scope of the purpose of effective implementation of the particular business.

JAC will not disclose or provide personal information collected from an individual to a third person without obtaining the individual’s prior consent.

Preventive and Corrective Actions against Privacy Accident

While keeping personal information correct and up-to-date, JAC will take safety control measures in accordance with current universal technical standards in order to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alternation or leakage, and will endeavor to prevent any accident involving personal information.

In case of a privacy accident in spite of all preventive measures against information leakage, JAC has developed corrective actions including emergency response procedures, system restoration procedures and an emergency communication system. By this, we can internally grasp the situation without delay, implement company-wide actions led by JAC directors to prevent the damage from spreading, and analyze the causes of the accident to develop recurrence prevention measures.

Request for Personal Information Disclosure

You may make requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use or suspension of provision to a third party of your own personal information (hereinafter called “requests for disclosure etc.”). In order to respond sincerely and promptly to such requests for disclosure etc., JAC has established a reliable internal privacy system.
