As a result, the RRO numbers of IFRRO in under the bilateral agreement with JAACC include 13 RROs.
]]>JAACC was admitted to IFRRO as an RRO member at IFRRO AGM 2008 held at the conference at Montego Bay, Jamaica from October 27, 2008 to October 31, 2008.
The recently appointed president of IFRRO, Ms. Magdalena Vinent advised us of our membership approval. JAACC had previously an active membership status with IFRRO as an Associate member. IFRRO members welcomed JAACC’s IFRRO membership and are looking forward to effective copyright use of their managed works in Japan. JAACC believes that this approval will lead to improve smooth usage of Foreign RRO’s works by Japanese users.

From the standpoints of both copyright holders and users, JAACC promotes enlightenment activities on the rights and liabilities concerning copyrights and positively deals with the collective treatment of copyrights, such as wide use of academic treatises and treatment and facilitation of copyrights with foreign countries under bilateral agreements with foreign RROs.
Moreover, as a member of IFRRO, JAACC positively develops activities also in international scenes concerning the protection and smooth use of copyrights.
